Oven operator • Newport County, Rhode Island

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an oven operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. The role involves rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
