Track-type tractor operator — Mitchell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Mitchell County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
