Foundry operative wanted in Edwards County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Edwards County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 5+ years on the tools preferred.
