Elevator service technician — Essien Udim

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Essien Udim, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts.
