Gas meter installer wanted in Jasper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Jasper County, Georgia. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
