Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Bedford County, Tennessee. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends.
