Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Madison County, Illinois. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth The role involves: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat Part-time with flexible hours.
