Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Duval County, Texas. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
