Industrial sewing operator wanted in Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Adams County, Ohio. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
