We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Reynolds County, Missouri. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
