Gantry crane operator — Richland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Richland County, North Dakota. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
