We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Niagara County, New York. You will work in a catering unit. Day to day you will scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift. Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
