Offshore rigger wanted in Brown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Brown County, Nebraska. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Part-time with flexible hours. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
