Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Dane County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Able to read basic scaffold drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
