Gantry crane operator — Isu

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Isu, Imo State. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Rotating shifts.
