Lathe operator wanted in Placer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Placer County, California. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings On the job you will handle: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
