Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Utah)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Carbon County, Utah. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
