Gantry crane operator • Buchanan County, Missouri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Buchanan County, Missouri. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
