Pressman — Guthrie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
