Ironing operator — Citrus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Citrus County, Florida. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
