Semi-automatic welder — Ochiltree County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Ochiltree County, Texas. The role involves load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 2+ years on the tools preferred.
