Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Your main tasks: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush 4+ years on the tools preferred.
