Join our team: we are hiring a dozer operator in Barnsley, England. The job is at an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day-to-day duties: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals 5+ years on the tools preferred.
