Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Garfield County, Nebraska. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
