Brick mason — Woodson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Woodson County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
