Escalator technician wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
