Brick and block layer • Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Rotating shifts.
