Single needle operator — Ibeno

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ibeno, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines You will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
