Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Martin County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 4+ years on the tools preferred.
