Foundry worker wanted in Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Clay County, South Dakota. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
