Elevator technician — Middlesex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
