Vacancy available: CO2 welder (Oregon)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Washington County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
