Hoist operator — Eureka County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Eureka County, Nevada. The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
