Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Otoe County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs.
