Shakeout operator — Atisbo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Atisbo, Oyo State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours. We offer ₦600 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
