We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Cornwall, England. You will be based at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around £2,850 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
