Wet plasterer — Stanislaus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Stanislaus County, California. On the job you will handle: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster You should have: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Meals and transport allowance provided.
