Now hiring: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Coal County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Day-to-day duties: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat 3+ years on the tools preferred.
