Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Marion County, Alabama. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
