Dishwashing attendant — Rock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dishwashing attendant in Rock County, Nebraska. You will be based in a hospital canteen. On a typical shift you will keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures. Requirements: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
