Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Sumaila, Kano State. The job is at a cloud kitchen. What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
