We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Milam County, Texas. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops.
