Argon arc welder • Hill County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hill County, Texas. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred.
