Core maker wanted in Cimarron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Cimarron County, Oklahoma. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
