Sheet metal press operator — Yates County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Yates County, New York. The job is on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Your main tasks: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
