Argon welder — Sioux County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Sioux County, Iowa. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
