Pipe tig welder — Warrick County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Warrick County, Indiana. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
