We are recruiting: precision welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Leslie County, Kentucky. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
