Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Logan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Logan County, Illinois. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
