Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line.
